About Uppie’s Kitchen
Uppie’s Kitchen is a collaboration between Jane “Uppie” McCarty and her husband and partner David Todd McCarty. Uppie is the inspiration, because she is the one who does the vast majority of the work around the house, making the meals, taking care of the house, and keeping the whole operation running. David spends a lot of his time on the computer typing or looking through the lens of a camera. This project was a means to bring their two worlds together and do something creative that brought both their talents to bear. It’s a process, just like a marriage.
